Mecha refers to titles featuring futuristic or fantastical machinery that can be controlled by a pilot, usually in the form of robots, armor suits, speedy vehicles, or tanks. The versatility of the mecha genre means it blends with a multitude of other genres and storylines, from colorful adventure comedies to gritty war dramas.
